Hi Folks,
I've read the user manual, searched the web, but can't find the answer to this question: Does the Yamaha SW-45 subwoofer, when using the speaker-level inputs, employ a high-pass filter for small satellite speakers like a BOSE, or does it just pass on the full-range signal? I want to replace a passive BOSE sub with a powered sub, without spending large bucks. Any Advice? Thanks, Rob |

Thanks, Rob Yes the adjustable high cut filter is adjusting what goes to the sub and passes the rest to the main speakers. It should be a definite step up from the 50 hz or so you could get from the Bose. |
