Default Are vintage DACs a bargain?

I see awesome old DACs around at bargain prices (e.g. a SF Processor 3
@3000 US$ at Audiogon). Are they worth the money compared to the
current digital gear around, which promise audio nrivana and still I
see crappy analog section w/i cheap op amps and or cheap poser supply?
These old unit shows great (and generally better) implementation of
output stages ...

Pls comment
