Hello, I am new to the high end audio equipment so please bear with
me. I have a question about separate tuners and amplifiers. I am thinking about buying a Yamaha RX-V1400 mainly for its Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer this may be something I do not need but keep in mind I don't have the foggiest idea what I am doing. Anyhow I have heard people say they have purchased this receiver and used it with a separate amp. Knowing this unit has as much power as I would ever need would using a separate amp help it sound better? I have also heard of a separate package in the $1,400 range should I do this right off the bat or go with the Yamaha and add an amp later if so advised? I want a unit for surround sound and want a nice clean tight sound at a reasonable volume I do not need or want to peel the paint off of the walls. Thanks in Advance |
