Default "Digital Audio" brand 5.1 speakers

I recently came into possesion of a set of 5.1 speakers by the brand
"Digital Audio". Have you ever heard of this brand? They came in a
box that said not much, it just has the DVD, DTS and Dolby PRO LOGIC,
logos on them and pictures of the system. No manuals or anything, This
was purchased by someone else, but I'd like to make use of it. I know
nothing of speakers and sound systems, but it looks like I need a
reciever and an amp, the subwoofer is not internally powered, and has
8 connections in the back, 4 input, 4 output. Which would connect to
two sets of double wires. Any help you can give me will be greatly
appriciated. If pictures could help, I'd be glad to take some with my
digital camera.

I just want to know if these things are real, the box says SRP
1,999.00 but this seems really steep, plus this is all made in china.
Was the person who bought this originally ripped off, and that's why
they were never used?

A "white van" speaker scam. World's crappiest speakers (even worse than Bose).

Type digital audio in the search box. You will read some very interesting
stuff...
