Default PT Newbie Question 3 (Mixing)

Hello All,

I am trying to find a way to alter levels with the Mix window faders
that will not affect the other songs in the session. Faders in groups
affect the other tracks in that group so that will not work. Even with
separate regions, the automation data is cross region. I have started
putting breakpoints on all tracks at the beginning of a song but would
think there is a better way. I have considered separate sessions but I
want as few items as possible to keep track of.

What would be ideal is a way to keep regions autonomous, which is what
I would expect to be normal behavior. I am using PT LE 6.2.2 with a 002R.

Y'all have fun,
Robert A. Ober
