Default Stringing Up a U-87 Shock Mount

The elastic bands on my U-87 shock mount (an old one, a little different
from the current version) lost enough elasticity so that the moutn fell
apart on the shelf (I don't use it a lot). I have some new bands but I
can't puzzle out how they're supposed to be strung. No matter how I
twist things around, I can't figure out how to hook up more than four
out of the eight hooks on the inner clamp part.

I once saw an instruction sheet on how to do it, but of course now I
can't find it. Does anyone have it, or is better at searching these
things than I am? This is one time when I'd really like to see a video.
