It is about science. It always has been. It has always also been about politics. The politics of the 'green movement' who want to change our way of life. Why do they want to do that? They think it will make our lives better in the long run. They *believe* it ! And you *believe* that pouring billions of tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere has no effect. You just do! They just do. It's like a religious faith with them and they want to 'convert' us. Well, the justification for that is the same - religionists and spiritulists think that their teachings will make our lives better in the long run. By their value judgements that they seek to impose on everyone else. See Islam for example. There's one small difference. Can you guess what it is? No, I cannot assume that you can. You are acting like a child. Whether or not you choose to be catholic, baptist, anglican, or buddhist has absolutely no affect on me or anybody else. The choices you make concerning the air, oceans, or whatever, do. Whooosh ! As for fanatic Islamists, I do not see people bombing power or auto companies, or whatever. You apparently don't know that Moslems, NOT Islamists btw, they're something entirely different, are expected to encourage conversion. Just like the greens. Apparently the analogy went right over your head. It was a flawed analogy for the reasons already given. Those reasons apparently went right on over your head. |
