I am looking to upgrade from a Marantz SR7300 integrated to seperates. On
my list for amps are the Sunfire Cinema Grand (400w, 5 or 7 channel) the Rotel RMB 1095 (200w, 5 channel), or maybe the new Adcom GFA78 series (300w, 5 or 7 channel). I am also looking at pre-amps from the same companies. I probably do a 70/30% split between 2 channel stereo listening and home theatre watching. The stereo stuff ranges from AC/DC, Beatles, Pink Floyd to Mozart, Charlie Parker, and Brahms. My current system is the Marantz above and: B&W 7NT (L and R front) B&W CDM NT (Center) B&W LM1 (L and R rear) Sony changer CD player running via toslink to a Musical Fidelity A324 DAC Sony DVD player Any experience with teh Rotel, Sunfire or Adcom or any other suggestions? Right now, based upon talking with some folks, I am leaning toward the Sunfire stuff. Thanks! Art |
