It seems to take a while for newsgroup postings to appear on Google
groups - I wasn't ignoring the later posts, they just hadn't reached
me



I think he wants to drag on the edge of the clip and have
more or less of the file from which it comes be exposed
without moving what is there in time. I can't remember
whether Audition can do that or not.

Yes, that's exactly what I want to do - you said it better than me.

And, Audition can do it, as was suggested and I have confirmed.
