strange or not this is the only cd player that can play in the
computers CD some of the problematic disks and I lost it's
installation(cd player came along with wav player audio mixer.. along
with the old creative soundblaster 64 soundcard)

I would really appreciate it if you could email me the

contents(cdplayer would be enough if it can be extracted)

It is then a drive problem - or rather ability, because some drives are
better at playing flawed disks than other drives. Some of the very cheap
chinese "play anything" dvd players are reportedly very good at problem
cd's, and I have a very cheap "native chinese" cd-rom burner that was
able to read a disk that 4 other drives could not. Your mileage may vary
wildly.
