Hello there. Does anyone know if on a MCI JH 110 8 track machine if
you can separate the meter cabinet from the roll around stand? I was thinking about fitting one into a car. It looks like you could separate the two parts? Let me know? Thanks! Glenn. |

Depends what kind of cabinet it's in. If it's in a Russ Lang cabinet (which is pretty common), you cannot. It looks like you could separate the two parts? The electronics packages and the transport are separate on these machines and they will both fit into standard 19" racks. It was fairly common to put them into shipping racks for field use. Normally folks would make them up with one box for the transport and one for the electronics and they'd make up special head cables with a multipin connector. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra.
