Anyone here have experience with downloading 192 kbps files and have an
opinion about the sonic differences between them and their corresponding
redbook CDs? I'm asking due to looking at some things at
classicsonline.com

**I can (barely) tell the difference between 320k MP3 files and CDs on
my (crappy) car stereo. On my home stereo, the difference is readily
apparent. Of course, it will be material dependent. I'm happy to use
320k MP3 files, as long as they are free. I sure wouldn't pay money for
them though.

Bratzi shouted:

.mp3 is a VERY flawed format and I'd never pay for anything of that
filetype. ONLY a lossless coded like FLAC is worth any money.

Yet another failing of the non-Nazi technology we're stuck with. No doubt
the Nazis would have created a far superior set of standards if only the
vicious, persecuting Americans had let them continue their purges of
inferior races.

Another rough day at "church", Arnii? Maybe you should stop taking offense
at the pastor's preaching. After all, he probably doesn't know about half
of your sins.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I was curious about the Berg
Quartet 'box' on sale at iTunes. The original cds were notoriously
trying IRT sound quality.

If the CDs sound bad, then there's a really good chance that the MP3 will
sound bad. Only a claim of serious remastering or remixing could give the
situation hope.

Nothing, as long as you realize that you've just "sunk" to Jenn's
level, good old Arns. So I presume we won't be hearing from you about
how horrible Jenn is any more, unless (of course) Jenn is forcing you
to behave that way...

Now that you've proven yourself to be horrible, where will you go from
here?

Humans take naps for the salubrious effect. For you, apparently, napping
is a way to get snottier and snottier and snottier with no effort.

Why is it wrong for me to troll when you do it so often, Jenn?

Even if Jenn did troll, she wouldn't end up smeared all over with feces
like you do.

Arnii is dead-set on getting into "heaven" and "sitting next to Abraham".
All he has to do to wash away his sins is repeat his catechism of
self-abnegation once a week: "I am a liar and a hypocrite. I am a vile,
disgusting piece of crap. I am a liar and a hypocrite. Thank you,
JEE-zus!"

Anyway, I don't recall ever trolling you. Would you provide an example?

No Jenn, this is about you.

Of course not, that would be admitting that you had what you considered to

I can see that there is no point in pursuing this matter with you Jenn,
because of your inability to consider the possibility that you ever did
something that you felt might be wrong.

Why don't you show us how it's done, 2pid? Here, let's start. You
finish the sentence:

Not really. You're the hemorrhoid of RAO.

"I, ssshhhead, have not been right once when it comes to military strategy
or tactics at the strategic, operational or tactical level because..."

But I have been right, exactly 100% of the time. (Unless Sanchez and
the others are lying, but for you to say that would be calling the
troops unreliable or worse. Uh-oh! another dilemma for 2pid!)

Remember, 2pid, that those of us who called your LGF and other
bloggers bull**** were not supporting the troops...

RIP'rs are clueless.

Hm. I wonder if Sanchez RIPed. I wonder if GEN Zinni did as well...

So in your overwhelming stupidity you cannot see the overwhelming
evidence agaisnt you. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, I see.

Why am I not surprised? (I am equally not surprised, BTW, at your
feeble IKYABWAI, as that's all you seem to have, little girl...)

Lol!

Speaks to your poor memory and incomplete knowlege.

For sure, only those who read and remember the details of all of my posts,
which I believe now number at some significant fraction of a million. I
just checked and Google estimates something like 71,000 posts, and that is
just under the nickname that I currently use.

For your claim to be factual Jenn, you would have had to read and remember
the contents of at least 71,000 of my posts. Wanna make that claim?

All of the above is just fine, Arny, if you couple it with refraining
from making statements of "fact" that you can't back up, like when you
said that I troll and that you admit to mistakes and I don't. That
would be the honorable thing to do.

How's this for a

I
just checked and Google estimates something like 71,000 posts, and that is
just under the nickname that I currently use.

For your claim to be factual Jenn, you would have had to read and remember
the contents of at least 71,000 of my posts. Wanna make that claim?

at ten minutes per post, you have wasted 710,000 minutes, or 11,800
some hours.
A typical full time year of work is 2080 hours, thus, by your own
admission, you have wasted enough time to have gainfully employed
for five full years. Just think of all the money you cou have made, by
selling even more of the overpriced, obsolete broken down computer
****
if you had only kept focused on your core business.

Congratulations on your fifth year anniversary of your
"productive" Usenet career!

BTW, 2pid, did you see how I put your name in there, forcing you to
change it to accomplish your lame IKYABWAI?

Yeah...that's so cool. Do it again.

So you actually seek out opportunities for lame IKYABWAIs.

That's so cool. Lol!

As I said, not an original 'thought' in 2pid's empty bean.
