you see D19s show up on eBay fairly regularly...i've seen the
Telefunken badged ones as well as the AKGs.

although i've never used one, i get the impression from most accounts
that the D19 is very comparable to a good ol' SM57 in most
regards...maybe you can tell your client that and save yourself some
scratch...unless they're shellin' out for 'em! ; )

i think the 'Beatles factor' drives the dollar value of these mics
beyond their actual worth...but i could be wrong.
