Default Pioneer DV-565 2ch vs 5.1ch sound diference in stereo mode. NORMAL?!?

Hi!

I have noticed that my DV-565 has different sound on front channels.
On 5.1 front channels sound is more saturated with high frequencies (more
treble).
On 2ch stereo outputs sound is more "sterile" with less treble.
Is this normal?

Regards,
Zoran

P.S.

I have noticed sound difference when I changed my old Onkyo TX-444 with NAD
T753 receiver.
