Default DVD-A more sensitive than SACD?

I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience - it seems
to me like DVD-A performance is more sensitive to equipment, room, and
speaker placement than SACD? Is there any truth to this, or possibly
just an anomoly on my part on account of my library?
