Default Opinion on the Grado Phono Stage

It is a "perfect match" by Grado's standards as it was designed using
those very pick-ups. That in itself does not mean that you will prefer
it to the Classe. I would venture to say that you will find it
"warmer" and more well balanced than the one you are using due to the
synergy and the Grado traditional design results. In short, if you
find your present set to be somewhat "bright", "forward" or generally
"sterile" in nature, then the Grado should please you; however it
could make things a bit "rosey-warm" if you find that the system is
presently too warm. It is all in the ear of the beholder.

I've got a Grado Reference cartridge and was thinking about

upgrading
the phono stage from that in my Classe 6. I would assume that the
Grado phono prepreamp was a perfect match.

Is it?

How does it compare in sound to the other under $1000 pre-preamps?

Anyone know of a review?

Thanks,

Philip
