me and my Revox part II
Hello
thanks to everyone here i managed to open my Revox A77, defeat the interlock system and mess with the trimpots until the point i liked what i heard. i've boosted the record level a bit and moved the bias of both channel to a point where the HF are sweet to my hears. definitely an improvment for minor trimpots moves. Now what's weird : so i opened the beast and put it flat (horizontally) on my table. i hit "play" but the key won't stay locked. i have to keep my finger on it. same for rewind/forward/rec. i dealt with it and thought i'd see if it does it again when the machine is re-assembled and standing vertically on its feets. but the same thing still happen. any idea of what's going on ? thanks ! matthieu |

You pulled the shorting plug out of the remote jack. Page 3 in the manual. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
