Same thing happened to Carver when they sued API, claiming to have invented the subwoofer. Carver did have a patent. Ironically, Carver had invalidated that patent with one of their own products-prior art. Furthermore, everybody that Carver had bullied into paying license fees, had a pretty good prima facie court case for recovering their payments. |
