What do you think of my setup?

Panasonic CD player,
Vandersteen 1C speakers,
Audioquest type 2+ speaker wire,
Monstercable interconnects,
Luxman LX33 Tube Amplifier.

Same thing I thought the last three times you asked. nice speakers; money
wasted on overpriced cables and stoneage amp could have gone to gone to buying
more music.

Default What do you think of my setup?

As for the amp, it's my dad's old amp, so I don't really care how old it is
just how it sounds. And it sounds great! I just hope powerful enough though
for Vandersteen 2C's...

Only one way to find out. Keep in mind that 5W only sounds about 1/2 as loud
as 50W, not 1/10th as loud.

Most must is listened to at less than 10W.

I think the market for amps has thorougly bifurcated. Lots of people
essentially listening to background music and presonal stereos running at
the milliwatt level, and lots of other people trying to shake the license
plates off their cars with music.
