Butler Audio has been making tubed ampifiers for both automobile and musician use (guitars) for many years. I seem to recall that when Stereophile has Wes Phillips as one of its columnists, he gave the Butler Tube Driver, as it was called, a very favorable review in one of his columns devoted to automobile audio systems.
