I have seen a mission cyrus one amp in excellent condition both
cosmetically and functionally, advertised for $120 . As i am on a limited budget but do not wish to buy new poor quality equipment, is this a good viable alternative and is the advertised price fair for such an amplifier taking into account age (15 years) and condition??. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i cannot find any detailed info on this amp or what it retailed for originally, and have limited knowledge in this field myself. |

Nothing special, IMO. The Cyrus One employed Quasi-Complementary Symmetry outputs, without any VI limit circuits. Nasty stuff. Personally, I'd suggest a nice old NAD or Rotel. Better amps and probably available at better prices. -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |
