I'm just getting setup to record at home to my eMac (and macbook).
I've got the mic's and the Presonus Inspire firewire interface and am going to buy an external drive (firewire) and was going to record directly to that. But the sales guy at my local computer strore recommended recording direct to HD and just using the external drive to transfer/store the projects. I don't know the specs on my mac drives but is it true that they are faster than firewire and would this be the best way to go? Any experience would be helpful to this newbie. Thanks, Chris cgratham @ gmail.com |
