Oh c'mon Bobby. People were joking when they said kill her or divorce her. Most
people followed up with good advice. His question was answered and some humor

Well, she cleaned both the tweeter and woofer with heavy
cleaning solutions. They're likely toast. New speakers are
the most reasonable course of action unless he can get replacement
drivers of course. Then add/put a grill on the speaker so that she
never gets the silly idea of cleaning them like that again.

Thank you. I now have got the dust covers off the tweeters and have
rinsed the excess off from under the tap. As you said these things
are very delicate, I can see that now so I am handling them with care.
