I decided to establish a home cinema system.
I thought the JBL products as a speakers such as scs-140(100watts subwofer+5 satellite per 50watts. I firstly thought as a digital receiver DENON AVR-1603 but its quite expensive. afterwards They advised me sony str-de595 reciever. Is this reciever suitable for my speaker system. Is it worth buying the DENON system because approx.twice as much price than sony system. |

The Denon is a much better receiver than the Sony. But it is probably overkill for the speaker system you plan on getting. If you plan on getting better speakers in the near future after using the scs-140 system for a while, the Denon would be a good investment. If you plan on keeping the scs-140 speakers for a few years, then the Sony receiver will be good enough... |
