Hi All,
We have a gentlemen who works behind the mixing desk in our church hall, (we call him the 'Chief'). He has been working behind various incarnations of that desk for easily 10 years, however he has no formla training in sound, teching or anything of the sort. Further still his sound theory is sketchy at best - preferring to experiment rather than learn all the effects and functions of the board and our FX racks. Having discussed a bit with the relevant committees we feel it would be good to send him on some sort of basic training course - if only for sound techs (if such a thing exists) however i was hoping some of you could advise me on this subject. Short Audio training courses? Do they exist, are they worth anything? Thanks M |
