It is time that the Bush administration start suing some of these absurd liars, like Franken, MoveOn, and Howard Dean. Can't. 1) Bush is a public figure That raises the bar, it doesn't not void the slander and libel laws, as I explained. Raises it too high to surmount. Public figures sued before, and won. 2) They're not lies You're a liar, or an ignorant fool, I'm not sure which. Bush is no where near another Hitler. 1) Now you have to show where Dean or Franken claimed that Bush was like Hitler. Unless you're lying? I said Franken is a liar. Franken makes no bones about being a liar, but covers his as by claiming his lies were "satire". For example, Franken Lied when he said that Bush had the worst environmental policy on record, when all that Bush did was roll back some of the last minute changes Clinton put in place so that this very propaganda point could be made! Dean was smear mongering when he brought up the lie that Bush knew about 9-11 before hand and let it happen to serve Bush's political purpose. I never said that Franken or Dean compared Bush to Hitler. They very well may have, but I've not heard this. I said that Franken and Dean are liars. And, like most Democrats, you turned out to be lying when you claim that I said that Dean and Franken compared Bush to Hitler. I said that MoveOn made the lie of comparing Bush to Hitler. I said that the time has come for all these bold faced slanderers and libelers be held accountable for their lies. 2) Hitler didn't start of as a bloodthirsty despot. He got elected by providing the German people what they wanted. In 1936 is was no more despotic than, say, George W. Bush. You're ignorance of the despotic policies of the early National Socialist is amusing, but not an argument that will sway intelligent people who know better. Nor can you ever point out where Bush took part in an attempted armed overthrow of the American government, as Hitler did. Now, are you really this damned ignorant of history, and what a beast Hitler was, or are you just pretending to be a total idiot to excuse your shameful lies? |

In the last couple of years worker productivity in the US has increased at an 2.7% annual rate (if I remember right), while wages have increased at only about a 0.8% rate. Somebody is collecting a lot of money, and it ain't me. Still we need an immigrant worker program to keep those labor rates low. (sarcasm intended) ScottW |
