Hello,

I am tired of listening to good movies on a pair of TV speakers. Can
you all recommend a decent surround sound system. I have a DVD player
already so I think I only need a reciever and speakers? Can I get
something decent for under $200? Is it worth it?

I'm afraid that at this level you will not be able to find interesting
stuff.
Let's have a look to 5.1 Micro system from Altec Lansing, Logitech...
I've read recently that Logitech Z-2200 could be a "decent" (minimum?)
audio system for a small room.

No. While you can get decent electronics in that price range, decent
speakers will not come as part of a package in that price range.
