Pardon the non-tube question but it's way past the time when I should have
upgraded my computer. The main reason I waited so long is because I was
waiting for Intel to perfect its dual core 64 bit processor. It appears to
me that their introduction of said processor was a premature attempt to
compete with AMD's success. Of course the primary shortfall is Intel's buss
development which is still "old school." I hesitate, perhaps from
ignorance, to jump on the AMD bandwagon because of a concern that somewhere,
somehow a malevolent Window will appear to indicate some incompatibility.
Can someone please shed some light on this perhaps unwarranted concern?
