i remember reading something about a device which could be affixed to
wooden furniture which acted to send subsonic vibrations through the furniture. i think it was called an acoustic actuator, but searching for such on google's giving me nothing. anyone have information on a) what its called or b) experiences with? Myren |

These have been around for a while. Known variously to google as "Butt Shaker", "Butt Kicker", "Bass Shaker", etc. It's up to you to dodge the sex toys... The technical essence of these products is a robust bass loudspeaker with a mass replacing or augmenting the speaker cone. You can pour some epoxy into the cone of a woofer, let it set, attach it to a chair frame, and have a similar effect. |
