I buy from Jerry Bruck at Posthorn Recording in NY. He was the long
time importer of Schoeps and is quite knowledgeable about the line.
NIce guy as well.

There doesn't seem to be any price competition or discounting on this
brand in the US

Right, that's why it's not always perfect. A lot of places don't have a
local POP and have circuits forwarded to a more-or-less nearby POP. So
you can't really be 100% sure without access to the ISP's records.

Back when folks mostly used shell accounts, it was a lot easier to tell
where people were. But then the net was a lot smaller then too.
