Reribboning is not inexpensive. I like those mics a lot. I've had my pair so long I have no idea what the go for now. -- ha |

What is the mic's history... what has it been used for, or where did
you get it? Does it have a cable that will connect to the Tuchel connector? If you are really asking for oposite sex connetcor (sound of malicious lough), you can buy it somewhere for few dollars. So, the answer is NO. the whole motor. Basically, they slide a new mic in your mic body. It is of course a very expensive repair... If you get this done, PLEASE ask for the old parts back! There is a real demand for the 160 transformers out there, among people who want to upgrade the 260.80. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |

Heh, never thought about that. Now, let's see... yes, the transformer is swapped as well. Not many go for it of course, and I'm not sure they would give the parts back. In the US, they have to do so by law. The only company I have ever dealt with that has refused to do so is Countryman. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
