Recommendations needed for Beyer mic repairs
I have a Beyer M66 that died a few months ago. The local agent tells me
that Beyer no longer supply parts for these mics so it cannot be repaired. It seems a real waste to toss it if it, as it is still in excellent condition (apart from the fact that it doesn't work, of course). I obviously don't want to spend a fortune, but it would be great to have it available as an option again. I also have the internals of an M500 and was wondering if anyone could suggest a cheap mic that I could use replacement for the body. Thanks W |

Cheaper than a new mike by a long shot, and you won't have to do any wacky engineering to fit it in place. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
