Default Recs for 110v/220v problem

I brought from Europe my NAD AV716 and CD player 314.

I was hoping to substitute the Power supply/transformer on the units
to 110V 60Hz with NAD components but, unfortunately they cannot source
anylonger the Transformer (part No NPT-1168D) for the AV Reciever (the
other parts they have).

Possible solutions are the following:

I could canabalize a used unit. Apart from ebay are there any sites
that deal in "used parts"?

I could just get a best quality external 110V to 220V transformer at
the wall (and plug the units into it). What recs and things should i
look out for?

Thanks

Cop
