I just bought a Toyota Echo and am finding my CD player a little
frustrating. Here is the problem: When the car is COLD, the CD plays just fine. Usually when I'm driving around town, I don't have a problem with skipping. But yesterday, when I took a 4 hour trip, about 1 hour onto the highway it starting skipping and got much worse with time. It's almost as if when the car/CD player is warm it has that problem. The CD player, after my trip last night, was skipping terribly but when I started it cold this morning (40F) it worked just fine. I don't want to have to replace the CD player because it seems to work just fine when driving short distances....any suggestions as to what I can do to fix the problem? Thanks in Advance, Barry |
