be a better word. However, one thing that I notice on the quickie
comparison chart is that the Gina has greater dynamic range (the
honest expression of how many of the 24 bits are actually useful) than
the Mia. I suppose that there are certain conditions under which you
could consider that the Gina has better "sound quality."

The MiaMIDI isn't called the Mia3G because it was an update to the
original Mia. So it's 2nd genration, whereas 3G implies 3rd.

I got my Echo MIA $100, just before it was discontinued to make way for
the MiaMIDI. Best soundcrd purchase I've made and I'm still very happy
with it a year or so later.
