Any difference between the MiaMIDI and Gina3G other than the number of
outputs? Both seem to offer MIDI. Is the sound quality otherwise identical? Why wasn't the MiaMIDI called Mia3G if all three cards offer midi (Mia, Gina, Layla)? If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one to witness it, does it make a sound? M. |

Check out the comparison chart here; http://echoaudio.com/Products/Produc...ison_Chart.php The MiaMIDI isn't called the Mia3G because it was an update to the original Mia. So it's 2nd genration, whereas 3G implies 3rd. I got my Echo MIA $100, just before it was discontinued to make way for the MiaMIDI. Best soundcrd purchase I've made and I'm still very happy with it a year or so later. CD |
