Beyer M500 or Sank'ed M500-dx?
I have a small budget left over for one more mic. I don't have a
ribbon, but I don't have much budget! Should I go for a used M500 or a Stephen Sank modded M500-dx (Beyer M500 w/ an RCA ribbon). Does the Sank mod really make the "aggressive" (for a ribbon) M500 sound anything like a 77dx? |
