The only reason why I picked up an AOL account is that @Home was giving a deal on them and I thought I could use it to sift out some information about RAO's numerous AOL-based malefactors and sockpuppets. My best recollection is I either never even fired up the AOL newsgroup service, or if I did I instantly found it so ugly and hard to use that I never went any further. If I made even one post, it is lost to an uncaring memory. |
