AR-94s Speaker System, $179pr

Here is a early 80's AR speaker system - the AR-94s. It contains two 8" woofers
and one 1 1/4" cone tweeter. All 4 woofers in this system have been expertly
refoamed - your local shop would probably charge $100+ just for this service. 6
ohms impedence, 87dB efficiency. Cabinets are 30 5/8"h x 14"w x 10 3/4"d. Grill
cloth (sock) goes all the way around the cabinets. Wood grain vinyl cap on top.
AR specs are 44-22,000 Hz +/- 3dB, 15 - 125 watts power handling. One 8" driver
handles the very low frequencies the other acts as a bass/midrange. Read the

Speakers are in excellent condition and fully tested. All 4 woofers have been
expertly refoamed. Below is an image of these speakers with their pants down so
you can see the original drivers and refoam job. It's not the easy to remove
the grill cloth. These speakers are plug and play - I guarantee it. Grill
fabric has only a few minor tears. These look and sound great. Very flat
frequency response that will allow extended listening sessions with little
fatigue. This speaker was one of the most popular in this line that included
the famous AR-9. Check the weight on these - an indication of their quality.

The AR-94's were offered in the early 80's for around $450 pair, I can offer
for $179 pr. along with a nominal $15 charge to offset packing plus shipping
out of SC. (43lbs net, 54lbs gross each)
