Reports on Arafat
Seems he's still alive but on his deathbed.
Personally, I'd like him to linger in pain for a much longer time before he dies. If only I weren't an atheist, I could take some solace in the idea that he would spend eternity in Hell. |

That's highly unlikely, since Sharon, probably under American pressure, had promised not to physically harm Arafat. Besides, it would not surprise me if Arafat has a "taster" (as was done in other earlier times by various autocratic groups).  However, I would not be at all surprised if one of the competing Palestinian militant groups attempted to put him out of comission. Israel may very well have to go into full-scale riot control and/or civil war control mode if/when Arafat kicks the bucket. I read an article in, I think, Rolling Stone, back in the 80's and the
article mentioned all of the pretty young boys in Arafat's entourage. I think it's entirely possible that he was bisexual/pedophile. AIDs is a horrible way to die. I was surprised that I was feeling pity for this asshole after hearing this, but given the possibility that he was suffering with AIDs rather than, let's say, having his head severed with a dull knife, I did. I challenge you to show me where I made any judgment at all as to Arafat's
sexuality. I simply mentioned an article I had read long ago. I don't give a **** personally whether Arafat was gay, bi, straight as an arrow or ****ed sheep. I'm only a supporter of Israel in that I don't see Israeli citizens walking around in trenchcoats full of C4 indiscriminately blowing up women and children. I do see them blowing up women and children with rockets however. Unfortunately the terrorists use the people they purport to be fighting for as human shields. Because maybe the PLO are the only group that agreed to w 2 state solution. So in trashing the PLO you are basically trashing the only chance that you have for the peace you are saying you want.
