That one would have been of little use to you, Paul.
It's definitely a MONO amp, probably with 2 x 807 PP and a 5U4G
rectifier or something.
There's only one power tranny and one output tranny.

A boatanchor, and at nearly 30 quid an expensive one to boot.

Indeed. Notice the peanut-sized output transformer. Maybe a PA amp?

Who knows ?

If those really are 807s in the output - certainly the top-cap fits the bill, I'd say
the output tranny was *way* undersized.

Maybe it's a 'starved plate' design ?

I can think of some other uses, but they are quite sadistic in application.
They would involve (1) a French pig "enthusiast" (I cleaned it up for RAO), and
(2) A Southern California stock clerk for a well known speaker manufacturer
(this is information I have on good authority from a well-known Californian
poster who has requested confidentiality).

I compared the size of the output transformer and the power transformer. In
a Hifi tubed amp, they should be far more similar in size. The power
transformer handles more power, but it is supposed to work down to about 1/3
the frequency.

Maybe it's a 'starved plate' design ?

LOL!

Probably an organ amp or something, the power tranny may had to feed
other circuits as well.

That's something else. Can't be applied to power amps.

As a power stage? Nope.
As a driver, maybe.
