for $49.95, but is now being offered for the very first time in 1998 to the
general market. The disc comes complete with instructions and will certainly
be a useful addition to any software library. Tracks 30 and 31 were recorded
for maximum low frequency energy on the 16-bit digital format. Please be

distortion in an audio system and then using specialized tracks to set up
your system for maximum sound and minimum system hiss. No special equipment
is needed. begin by listing to a distortion free recording. Then listen
carefully as specific levels of distortion are averaged into the signal.
When the distortion becomes audible, you have determined the amount of
distortion that you can tolerate. The tracks will indicate the specific
amount of gain overlap (clipping), average distortion, and the relative
loudness present in your system. Other tracks on cd#104 will permit optimal
component adjustments of the signal level to maintain optimal system
performance.
