hi all,
just bought a sub today - pioneer tsw304c and was wondering what is the best way to connect the wires to the sub as there were no clips included... do i have to buy crimping clips and attach wire to it and attach that to the sub? or just solder the wire the sub? is there a special wire i should buy or just "Speaker Wire"? thanks |

The sub has little "tabs" (spades) on it for connections yes? Buy some
female connectors to slide over them. You will need to crimp them on the wire. You can use reg. speaker wire. I used 16g for wiring my subs. The wiring is inside the box so there should be no need for super duper shielded wire, as there is nothing in there to really interfere. Brian ps i thought about soldering mine at first too but its a bad idea. crimping the connectors is alot easier to do, and it easily slides on and off unlike solder.
