Default How to analize a mixing room

I have never analized my mixing enviroment and have no idea where to
begin. Are there inexpensive RTA,s that anyone can recomend that does
a half descent job.
Is that the first step is to get a real time analizer to see where
my peaks and dips are in my room.once i found out my room a little
better are there things besides reconstruction that could help with
any room promblems.I already have auralex 2" plus lenard bass
traps.......I know that most of that stuff is frowned on in these
post....by I am a small proffesional production studio and we do not
have the budget for major reconstruction.
Any insight and guidence on where to begin and how to do this is
greatly appreciated.
