I was able to fix my ZX-7 cassette deck. It wouldn't go into play mode
but it would do high speed forward and reverse. I gently "nudged" the
carrier assembly up while in play. It moved up and started to work.
The carrier assembly was sluggish from lack of use. (Because of viagra
spam, my mail box is full so it won't accept any messages from you).
