Default Lynx 2 vs Delta 1010

I have heard some very nice things about the Lynx 2, especially about
it's converters. I currently have a Delta 1010 and had thought about
adding a Lucid AD9624, or the like, to have better converters than
what the 1010 offers. In the reviews/comments I have read about the
Lynx 2, it seems it may have converters that are in the same league as
the midpriced outboard converters (Lucid). If this is the case, the
Lynx would offer 4 channels of A/D and D/A (with the Lynx 2 A) for a
little more $$$ than the Lucid (which obviously is a 2-channel A/D
only). So it may make sense to either sell my 1010 and purchase the
Lynx2 or just add the Lynx 2 to my current setup. Any truth to these
rumors about the converters in the Lynx?

Would this be a noticeable improvement over the 1010? Any thoughts?

I haven't used either one of these cards. I've used the M-Audio 9624
which should be similar to the 1010, and I was surprised at how well it
works. Very usable. It would be hard to justify spending
microphones-and-cheeseburgers money on an upgrade from there. But
according to the measurements at Arny Krueger's website, the Lynx2 is
thoroughly impressive. Arny has a reputation for being a stickler for
measurements, so I tend to trust the data listed on his site.

I understand the microphone/cheeseburger issue, but my main idea was
that upgrading to the Lynx 2 would be a cheaper way to get better
converters than going with outboard gear, like the Lucid AD 9624,
which I have considered. The other advantage, if the converters in the
Lynx2 are comparable to the Lucid, stuff is that I would get 4
channels of A/D and D/A vs 2 channels of A/D only with the Lucid. I
guess the bottom line is how well the Lynx converters stack up to the
Lucid.

Thanks for the response.
