CNN has a precis of Kaddafi's peroration at the U.N. He sounds just like
you! I'm dumbfounded to see that another of your ilk has left you so far in
the dust. Kaddafi is the omnipotent dictator of an entire country, and you
chase mail trucks down the street.

Anyway, here are some of the amazing parallels:

"The preamble [of the U.N. charter] says the nations are equal
whether they are small or big. Are we equal in permanent seats?
No, we're not equals."

Kaddafi is saying that since every nation has one vote, that means every
nation should have equal status. Sound familiar? ;-)

He also said there should be investigations into many incidents,
such as the Afghan war, and that the Taliban should be able to form
an Islamic emirate, similar to the Vatican, and not be an enemy.

That's pretty much what you've been yapping about "Obama's war".
Coincidence? Ha!

He called the invasion of Iraq "the mother of all evils," criticizing
the hanging of deposed leader Saddam Hussein and the abuses at the
Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

Of course you disagree with Kaddafi on those points, but there's this...

He called the H1N1 flu virus a military tool and a weapon of
proliferation.

Isn't that what you said about HIV?


It's true that Krazy Kaddafi hates and fears the U.S., even long after the
Reagan era, but that shouldn't deter you from forging a true bond of
craziness with him. You should read up on his views about hostile neighbors
overcoming their differences and learning to live together in harmony. Then
you might be able to stop fuming about the brown tide.
