I was reading an article in the NYTimes about the difficulties of teaching
natural history and Darwinism in the Bible Belt. The reporter included this
factoid:

In Gallup polls over the last 25 years, nearly half of American adults
have consistently said they believe God created all living things in
their present form, sometime in the last 10,000 years.

A true pinhead like you must have his pick of dozens of drum circles.
