Yes, but because of the tipped-up high end on the KMS105, it works for a narrower range of people than most, which is a problem in a festival situation. You know what _really_ works on a huge array of people? The old EV 664. It's got that SM-57 presence peak, but it doesn't sound like an SM-57 at all. The pattern is pretty wide and sloppy, more or less like an SM-57, but it's really a surprisingly fine-sounding mike.
