Yes, I believe that you are correct on that. They're still stitching up JA's sides. As usual Marc, you're about 90 degrees out of phase. |

Judging from the general reaction on the Internet to your "performance," I'd say otherwise. Then again, your personality disorder prevents you from seeing how much of a laughingstock you are. Boon |

Maybe Bob is right about one thing...I just reviewed a book (yes, I'm also a professional book reviewer) on Internet reputations, and it seems that prospective employers now include a Google search with their reference checks. So if you wanted to get a recording gig, your potential employer would check Google and first see how the debate turned you into a laughingstock, and then see the details of your illustrious "Usenet career." This may explain why the phone isn't ringing off the hook at the Krueger household. My Marc but you really do take RAO seriously these days. Is someone paying you to take it seriously? More evidence of a paranoid personality disorder. Boon |

Some do, some don't. So if you wanted to get a recording gig, your potential employer would check Google and first see how the debate turned you into a laughingstock, and then see the details of your illustrious "Usenet career." I guess that is how it happened in your alternative universe, Marc. That would be the same alternative universe where all employers search the web to dig up dirt about prospective employees. This may explain why the phone isn't ringing off the hook at the Krueger household. When was I looking for a job? I haven't looked for a job or sent out a resume for more than 20 years. Tell you how work comes my way, Marc. Usually, someone knows me from some place where people actually show their faces. We probably talked, and they got an impression of my interests and capabilities. They had a need and they thought I might be a good fit. Or, I did some work for someone and they recommended me to a friend. I've also gotten a modest number of technical gigs from www.pcavtech.com. And of course, I got the HE2005 gig (of sorts) based on a long history of kicking someone's butt on Usenet. ;-) My Marc but you really do take RAO seriously these days. Is someone paying you to take it seriously? snip evasive non-answer Just guessing Marc, but might your employer be our *favorite* audio shrink? Or, did you get a reference from him - where someone approached him but the work was beneath his interests and capabilities? |
