One fader and one knob. In my favorite audio software
i highlight a fader or knob which is then automatically
controlled by my box.

There's a huge number of units already just like this, though not in "single
fader" package as it's just easy cheap to make a unit with a couple of more
faders. I'd suggest rigging your mouse and it's scroll wheel to act as a
